Conflicts, stated plainly.
A narrow practice earns trust by being explicit about where it will not work.
The standing conflict
Hyphen does not work with surrogacy agencies or surrogate recruitment companies. This is a standing client conflict, not a judgment about the work itself, and it is not negotiable while the underlying relationship exists.
The diagnostic flow asks about this first so no one invests time in a conversation that cannot proceed. If a conflict is identified, nothing further is collected.
How new conflicts would be handled
Because the practice serves one category, competitive overlap is a real question. Hyphen does not run paid search for two organizations bidding on the same intent in the same geography. When a prospective engagement would create that overlap, the existing client’s position wins, and the prospect is told directly rather than strung along.
Questions about whether a specific situation conflicts can go through the diagnostic request form with a short note.
